Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contracted opportunity is available for a Behavior Specialist with BCBA certification to provide leave coverage support in a K-12 school setting located in Andover, MN. This position spans from January 5, 2026, through February 9, 2026, working Monday through Friday for approximately 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver behavior intervention services aligned with established Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with educational staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student behavioral goals
- Monitor and document student progress and modify strategies as needed during the leave period
- Maintain compliance with state and district guidelines regarding behavior management and reporting
Desired Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required
- Experience working in K-12 school environments supporting diverse student populations
- Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educational teams and families
- Ability to adapt quickly to a temporary contract role and maintain continuity of services during leave coverage
